- There are six Gwinnett County high school football teams in the second round of the state playoffs. All six teams will be facing a non-Gwinnett County team on Friday. - A local family reports that a puppy was stolen from them while at a Gwinnett County dog show. Anna Stanford, a licensed breeder, was at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds on Saturday when Gremlin, a 10-week-old French Bulldog, was stolen. The report has been filed with the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office. There is a $2,500 reward for the safe return of the puppy. (WSBTV)
- The Gwinnett County Police Department has arrested a man for a deadly shooting that occurred on Wednesday evening in a parking lot near Duluth Highway. Kobe Williams, 21 years old, has been charged with murder, aggravated assault, and gun possession. The shooting's motive is still under investigation. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
