Take a Sneak Peek at the New Disc Golf Course
The project is still on track for a mid-March 2014 opening.
Work on the $1.9 million Little Mulberry Park expansion is progressing on schedule and county officials expect the park to open in spring 2014 if the weather cooperates.
"It is still dependent on the weather from here on, but we are on track for a mid-March opening for the park expansion," Gwinnett Parks Division Director Grant Guess wrote in an email to Dacula Patch.
Josh Baxter of the Astra Group, the general contractor for the project, said the opening date is dependent on how quickly the sod around the baskets and tee boxes is established.
