Here are the top three stories in Dacula today:

1. The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in connection to the killing of a teen in October. Shamuel Benjamin, 18 years old, was arrested for shooting Timothy Buchanan, 17 years old, at a Lawrenceville basketball court. The department has reason to believe that the individuals had met for a drug transaction. Benjamin is being held at the Gwinnett County Jail. (WFIN)
2. Gwinnett County will be opening warming shelters. The shelters are in response to forecasted temperatures in the mid-30s. The shelters will be open from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Click for a map of the shelters. (WSBRadio)
3. Gwinnett Historic Courthouse is offering holiday photos. The photo sessions are for 30 minutes in a variety of decorated settings.
