- The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in connection to the killing of a teen in October. Shamuel Benjamin, 18 years old, was arrested for shooting Timothy Buchanan, 17 years old, at a Lawrenceville basketball court. The department has reason to believe that the individuals had met for a drug transaction. Benjamin is being held at the Gwinnett County Jail. (WFIN)
- Gwinnett County will be opening warming shelters. The shelters are in response to forecasted temperatures in the mid-30s. The shelters will be open from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Click for a map of the shelters. (WSBRadio)
- Gwinnett Historic Courthouse is offering holiday photos. The photo sessions are for 30 minutes in a variety of decorated settings. Participants are asked to bring their own camera and photographer.
