Trump, Carson Plan Weekend Visits in Gwinnett

Leading Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ben Carson will be in Gwinnett County this weekend to meet with supporters.

Trump will hold a supporter rally in the Norcross area Saturday beginning at 12 p.m. at the North Atlanta Trade Center, located at 1700 Jeurgens Court. The event is free, but you will need a ticket.

Doors open at 10 a.m.

Carson will be in Lawrenceville for a book signing Saturday night at the Books-A-Million store at Sugarloaf Mills Mall, 5900 Sugarloaf Parkway. He will be signing copies of his new book “A More Perfect Union,” beginning at 7 p.m. Carson also will hold book signings earlier in the day at three locations in South Carolina -- Columbia (9 a.m.), Rock Hill (12 p.m.) and Greenville (3:30 p.m.).

Carson’s book tour will take him to Gainesville Sunday for 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. appearances at Free Chapel-Gainesville.

Trump and Carson are considered the top two GOP candidates. Most polls have Trump in the lead, by as many as 10 points in one poll, according to RealClearPolitics.com.
