Missing Dacula Woman, 73, Found

Residents on Thursday were asked to check security camera and doorbell camera footage to see if the woman has passed by.

Updated at 4:53 p.m.: The woman has been found, authorities confirmed. Her name has been removed from this report.

DACULA, GA — Authorities are encouraging residents to stay on the lookout for a missing 73-year-old woman with several medical conditions.

In a news release, Gwinnett police said the woman was last seen around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at her daughter's home on Lakeland Drive. When her family went to wake her at 2 a.m. to give her medication, she was missing.

Police said the woman requires round-the-clock care and could be in danger. Residents are asked to check near their homes and on security and doorbell camera footage for sightings of the woman.

Authorities are also helping search for the woman. According to the release, Gwinnett Police Department's East Precinct officers are searching the area, along with a K9 unit and helicopter. The Gwinnett Search Team will also aid in the search.

The woman could be wearing a light blue tank top and black shawl, police said. She stands approximately 5-foot-2 and weighs some 145 pounds and has brown-gray hair and green eyes.

Anyone who sees the woman is asked to call 911 immediately.
