Woman Snatches Cigarettes and Runs
The female reportedly fled the scene with an unidentified male.

A momentary distraction was all the time a thief needed to get away with a carton of cigarettes.
On Sept. 24, Gwinnett County Police were called to the BP station on Hamilton Mill Road in response to a reported theft. The clerk said he placed a carton of Marlboro cigarettes on the counter while helping a female customer. The female then asked for the price of another brand of cigarettes. When the clerk turned his back, the female reportedly grabbed the Marlboros and ran out of the store.Â
The female left the scene in a Chevrolet Impala driven by an unidentified male. The officer checked the provided tag number and discovered the plate returned to a different vehicle with registration that had been expired since 2000.
The stolen Marlboros were valued at $40.
The case is listed as active.
