DALLAS, GA — A 3o-year-old Acworth woman was killed Monday afternoon after her 2004 Chevrolet Silverado was found on the side of the road at about 5:30 p.m., according to Georgia State Patrol (GSP). Ann Marie Ballew was the driver and only occupant, GSP added. Ballew ran off the roadway while negotiating a curve and lost control near East Paulding Drive and Reece Road. A trooper at the scene believes Ballew may have been texting before the accident, GSP added. The accident is still under investigation.
