Ritch Middle School Kicks Off Black History Month With African American Inventor's Exhibit
Ritch Middle School students are putting together an exhibit featuring 26 inventions by several African American inventors.
DALLAS, GA β As February marks Black History Month, a Paulding County School District middle school is preparing to celebrate the month in its own way.
P.B. Ritch Middle School is putting on an African American Inventor's Exhibit next Wednesday, featuring a 26-item exhibit showcasing inventions by several African Americans and displayed in alphabetical order, according to a Facebook post.
"The exhibit exposes visitors to various inventions by African American inventors, cultivates conversation about how these inventions impact our society today, generates a desire for some to become entrepreneurs and promots a new interest and an increased awareness of inventions by African Americans," the post said.

The exhibit will be on display Wednesday, Feb. 16 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ritch Middle School, 60 Old Country Trail in Dallas.
