Bullet Fired Into Villa Rica Home Almost Hits Mother, Child

Villa Rica police are asking for help to identify where a bullet came from that almost hit a mother and child.

VILLA RICA, GA -- Villa Rica police are asking for help to identify where a bullet came from, Sunday, which almost hit a mother and child on Lilac Lane, located in the rear portion of Reid Plantation subdivision.

Shots were fired and a bullet penetrated the back of the home, police reported. Officers discovered a bullet had gone thru the back wall of the home into the living room where it had come within feet of a mother and her child.

An investigation revealed the round came from the power line area located off of McCurdy Road.
