Cold Start Before Storm Threat Returns: Georgia Weather Forecast

Temperatures will slowly warm over the week, but it'll start Sunday night near 50 degrees in Georgia.

States in the Midwest and Northeast are seeing record low temperatures, and even snow, according to the Weather Channel.

Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 81. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76.

Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 76.

Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77.

Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 75.
