Donkey Found In Paulding Co. Needs Claiming
Authorities jokingly say a donkey found in Paulding Co. keeps talking, asked for waffles six times and has a dragon for a wife.
DALLAS, GA β A donkey was on the loose in Paulding County, and authorities are asking for it to be claimed soon.
"If this is your donkey, please come get him. We love him, but heβs starting to organize a musical," the Paulding County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post published Wednesday.
The donkey was found by Paulding County Animal Control in the area of Adair Drive near Highway 113, authorities said. The area is by Bell, McGarity and Pleasant Grove roads.

"We donβt know where he came from, but he definitely thinks heβs in a movie," authorities said.
Plainly, authorities referenced traits from DreamWorks Animation's "Shrek," during which Donkey (voiced by Eddie Murphy) sets out on an adventure to help Shrek (Mike Myers) retrieve the deed to his swamp.

Similar to the beloved "Shrek" character, authorities said the donkey in Paulding County:
- Keeps talking. Nonstop.
- Asked for waffles 6 times.
- Keeps saying he has a wife whoβs a dragon (???).
- Smells faintly of onions and drama.
Authorities said they will offer a reward to whoever claims the donkey.
"Weβll throw in a leash and a yearβs supply of earplugs," they said.
