The Paulding County School Distinct has three teams that are competing in the payoffs.East Paulding, North Paulding and South Paulding qualified for the state playoffs by finishing in the top four of their region.South Paulding grabbed the runner up position in region 5-AAAAA and East is the number four seed. South, East and Alexander all finished in a three way tie and South held the tie breaker advantage over both East and Alexander. North Paulding claimed the 4th seed out of region 4- AAAAAA and will travel to play number one ranked Colquitt County.South will host Loganville and East will travel to Sugar Hill to play Lanier. The Georgia High School Association begins the first round of the state Football playoffs today.Thirty two teams in each classification begin their quest for a state championship. The Paulding County School Distinct has three teams that are competing in the payoffs.
