- According to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, the man who crashed into multiple vehicles at a gas station before shooting himself has been identified. Christopher David Coleman, a 30-year-old man of Paulding County, drove his vehicle off Georgia 101 near the Georgia 120 intersection and struck multiple vehicles at Al's Exxon gas station at 10 a.m. Witnesses told officers the driver then brandished a handgun and shot himself in the head. If you have any information about this incident, contact the Paulding County Sheriff’s Department or the Criminal Investigations Tip Line at (770) 443-3047. (CBS 46 News)
- The City Of Hiram is hosting an American Red Cross blood drive on Wednesday, Jul. 6 at The Events Place. The blood drive will start at 12 p.m. and will continue until 5 p.m. The Events Place is located at 855 Hiram Douglasville Highway. (Press Release Desk )

- Floyd County police are investigating a shooting of three people, including two Dallas men, that occurred at Lock and Dam Park on Monday morning just after midnight. Witnesses report that a man driving a gray car fired birdshot at three victims, including Dustin Dunlap, 28, and Zander Haslett, 23, both from Dallas but were not transported to the hospital. The third victim, David Cole, 31, was transported to the hospital. All victims are expected to survive and the suspect has not been identified as of Monday evening. (Rome News Tribune)
