1. The Hiram Farmer’s Market is happening today, Jul. 7! The market will take place from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gray’s Mill Park, located at 77 Seaboard Street. Local vendors will be offerings fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and baked goods, along with locally made crafts. (Hiram Police Department via Facebook)
2. The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of a scam. The office said scammers were calling homes on Monday, Jul. 4, using real deputies' names and badge numbers indicating that the citizen has a warrant for their arrest. If you receive a phone call from someone stating that they are an employee of the Sheriff’s Office and that you are "wanted," authorities say it is a scam. 3. Job seekers in Paulding County are in luck! The Paulding County School District is hosting a job fair with on-site applications and interviews for numerous available positions. The fair will take place on Jul. 12 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at P.B. Ritch Middle School, located at 60 Old Country Trail in Hiram. (Paulding K12)

5. This Saturday, don't miss "Independance at the Pole Barn" at Taylor Farm Park!
