Hiram Looks for New City Manager

The City of Hiram, GA is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of City Manager.

Hiram has operated under the Council-Manager form of government since 2012. The Mayor and Council are firmly committed to providing the highest quality of services to the community and desire leadership, management, finance and motivational skills of a professional Manager.

The City Manager shall be the Executive and Administrative Officer of the City. The City Manager will report directly to the City Council for the administration of all City operations. The City Manager will be appointed by the majority vote of the City Council; this appointment will be made based on this person’s executive and administrative qualifications, including relevant experience.

Work responsibilities involve managing and supervising all departments of the City, preparing and executing the annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring revenues and expenditures are monitored and are in compliance with the City’s policies and procedures, as well as managing and directing the course of all of the City’s projects and goals as communicated by the City Council.
