Huge Meth Seizure Made In Paulding County
More than 520 pounds of methamphetamine were confiscated Wednesday from a home and vehicle.

Agents with the Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force (HPDTF) and Paulding County Sheriffβs Office confiscated more than 520 pounds of methamphetamine Wednesday from a home and vehicle. At about 9:15 a.m. the Paulding County Sheriffβs Office executed a search warrant at 809 Williams Road, the Paulding County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) said in a news release.
Law enforcement and Drug Enforcement Agency officers (DEA) found an active clandestine methamphetamine conversion lab inside the home with methamphetamine in all stages of production. In total, 123 pounds of methamphetamine and 308 pounds of unfinished methamphetamine was confiscated, PCSO said.
A traffic stop and search made Wednesday of a vehicle that had left the home had 88 pounds of methamphetamine inside, PCSO said.

Jorge Menera, Daniel Duarte Landa, and Dominquez Marcio Vazquez were arrested and charged federally by the Drug Enforcement Agency. They were charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
βThis is an excellent example of what happens when state, local, and federal agencies work together. I want to make sure everyone knows that if you see suspicious activity around your neighborhood to give us a call so we can investigate.β Sheriff Gulledge said. βThis is the largest amount of methamphetamine that I have ever seen in my career and likely the most that has ever been seized in Paulding County.β
