Man Shot As Home Riddled With Gunfire, Police Need Answers
A Paulding County man was shot while his home was riddled with gunfire, leaving the street littered with shell casings.
PAULDING COUNTY, GA -- A Paulding County man was shot Monday while his home was riddled with gunfire, leaving the street, in front, littered with shell casings.
Detectives do not yet have a suspect description, vehicle description, or motive as to why this residence was targeted.
At approximately 9:20 p.m. the residents at 49 Lakemoore Court, Douglasville, in Paulding County, called Paulding E-911 reference a shooting that had occurred at the home. Paulding deputies responded to the scene and found that the street in front of the home was littered with shell casings and the home had been shot a multitude of times.

According to detectives, the residents initially thought someone was shooting fireworks outside of the home until they started seeing bullets flying through the walls. As a result of the shooting, one man received a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the torso.
