- Hiram High School has awarded two people in their school community this week. Christian Rosser was recognized as the October Student of the Month, and Dr. Cobb was awarded Staff of the Month. (Hiram High School via Facebook)
- Country singer Travis Tritt and his wife had a surprise visit by a deer at their 45-acre Hiram home. Tritt posted a video on his Instagram page with a caption stating the deer's name is 'Oakley,' and that his wife bottle raised him when they found him as a fawn who needed special care. (The Dodo)
- A Community Clean-Up Day was held at the Paulding Airport last month. In partnership with Keep Paulding Beautiful, Kennesaw State Universityβs TRIO Programs hosted the event where 31 high school students served their community on the clean-up day at the airport. (The Dallas New Era)
- As of yesterday evening, the Paulding County Sheriffβs Office was searching for missing person Letitia Dawn Gurley, 46.
