DALLAS-HIRAM, GA — Paulding County schools and district offices will close Friday as Georgia hunkers down for a widespread winter storm that may be a menace to the East Coast. School officials said Friday will not be a digital learning day. The closure will shut down after-school programs and athletic events that were scheduled for Saturday, the Paulding County School District said. "Students and staff should remain home," school officials said in a notice. They advised maintenance workers to contact their supervisors for guidance.
