Paulding, Douglas Teens Tapped By GreyStone For Washington Youth Tour
High-school juniors from Dallas, Douglasville and College Park will see national monuments and learn about U.S. history as part of the tour.

HIRAM, GA β Three area high-school juniors have been selected by GreyStone Power Corp. to attend the 55th annual Washington Youth Tour, sponsored by electric-membership cooperatives nationwide.
They are:
- Davis Ondieki of Dallas, Paulding County High School
- Samuel Noonan of Douglasville, Douglas County High School
- Nathan Riediger of College Park, Landmark Christian School
Those three and other high-school students from throughout the United States will tour national monuments and learn more about U.S. history in an all-expenses-paid tour in mid-June.

The Washington Youth Tour was inspired by former president Lyndon Johnson, who encouraged electric cooperatives to βsend youngsters to the nationβs capital where they can actually see what the flag stands for and represents,β said GreyStone spokesperson Anitra Ellison.
GreyStone provides power for parts of Paulding, Douglas, Fulton, Cobb, Carroll, Bartow, Fayette and Coweta counties.
