DALLAS, GA — A South Paulding High School student was injured in a crash Wednesday near Winn Road and the school, the Paulding County Sheriff's Office said.The crash happened around 8:15 a.m. at Winn near Sundance Drive, the Georgia State Patrol said. A 16-year-old student, who was a pedestrian at the time, was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado, authorities said. The GSP added the student was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, and the sheriff's office said the student was in critical condition. The GSP's Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash.
