- Nov. 7 through Nov. 13 is PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week. Both the Kennesaw and Hiram PetSmart locations are participating. Potential pet parents are encouraged to come in and meet the available pets from Kitty Angel Rescue. All cats and kittens available for adoption are spayed or neutered and fully vetted. - The Paulding County School District Job Fair is in two weeks. The job fair will be held on Nov. 17 at P.B. Ritch Middle School. - Carrie Fitzgerald, of the Sheriff's Department, was selected as the Employee of the Month for November 2022 by the Paulding County Board of Commissioners. Commission Chairman Dave Carmichael and County Manager Frank Baker came to the Sheriffβs Office to present the award.
