Here are the top five stories today in Dallas-Hiram:
- Nov. 12 through Nov. 20 is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Hunger and homelessness are widespread problems that affect some Paulding County School District (PCSD) students and their families. The Paulding County Board of Education posted about ways to help local families in need, including donating to local food pantries and donating to a school's weekend backpack food program. - Multiple individual records were broken this year by softball players at North Paulding High School. Sanaa Thompson broke several career records and single-season records including batting average, runs scored, hits, and more. Ryleigh Garrett also broke the single-season record for doubles. - It is the final week of the regular season for Georgia high school football.
