Paulding County deputies are searching for missing 14-year-old Landyn Faugno, who was last seen in the area of Narroway Church Circle in Dallas and Cartersville Highway (Highway 61) traveling on foot. The Paulding County Sheriff's Office sent out an alert about the missing teen late Sunday night, Oct. 23. Landyn is 6-feet-2-inches tall, 160 pounds, with green eyes and reddish blond curly hair. He was last seen wearing dark clothing. Please call Paulding County investigators at (770) 443-3010 or by dialing 911 if you have any information on the teen's whereabouts. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  2. Paulding County Deputy Zackery Dubreuiel is credited with quick thinking and life-saving actions for saving an infant while conducting a traffic stop at the Ace Hardware on Dallas Acworth Highway on Sep. 30. He performed a sternum rub and CPR on an unconscious baby until Emergency Medical Services arrived and were able to save the child. Medical professionals later said the child's life was prolonged due to Dubreuiel's actions. The department said, "The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Deputy Dubreuiel reflect great credit upon himself and the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office." (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  3. Walter Matthews, a football player from Hiram, remains undecided. However, Michigan and Florida are reportedly the two programs standing out to Matthews at the moment. The 2024 four-star tight end recently visited Ann Arbor. (UGA Sports)
