Touch A Truck Day Lets The Public Get Up Close, Honk The Horns
Attendees can sit in a truck, talk to drivers — and even honk the horn — at Saturday's Touch a Truck Day at Veterans Park in Dallas.
DALLAS, GA — If your kid loves trucks and wishes he could drive one ... have we got the event for you.
Paulding County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs is staging its Touch a Truck Day Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Veterans Park in Dallas. Admission is free of charge.
"Get up close, touch, sit in, ride on, honk the horns, talk to drivers and learn about a variety of county and community vehicles," says an announcement of the event from the parks department posted to social media.

Although not all attendees have been confirmed, past exhibitors have included police and ambulance agencies, transportation departments, GreyStone Power Corp. and others.
Big trucks, little trucks and in-between trucks — along with other means of transportation — are anticipated at the event.
