  1. The Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce will host its next Lunch and Learn on Jun. 20 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to come out to the Junior Achievement Discovery Center to hear from Hamilton EAP's Rachel Houghton on the topic of "Self Care in the Workplace."   2. A Dalton angler scored big in the 2023 Memorial Day Fishing Tournament in Cherokee, North Carolina. An impressive 583 competitors came out on Memorial Day weekend in hopes of turning in one of several tagged fish, with each tag corresponding to a dollar value. Roger Morton was one of three anglers to capture a yellow-tagged fish, netting him $500. (Cherokee One Feather)
  3. Attention, Monty Python fans: Spamalot is headed to the Dalton Little Theatre this and next weekend! Opening weekend tickets are available for Friday, Jun. 2, and Saturday, Jun. 3 at 7:00 p.m., with a Sunday, Jun. 4 matinee at 2:00 p.m. The show continues next weekend on Friday, Jun. 9 and Saturday, Jun. 10 at 7:00 p.m. (Dalton Little Theatre)
