- This Sunday night, Jun. 4, the Whitfield Baptist Church will host guest speaker, Kurt LaBouve. The evangelist singer will perform at 6:00 p.m. He has recorded gospel songs "Send Me" and "I Just Want To Thank You, Jesus." All are invited with a nursery available. (Daily Citizen)

- Go to the Whitfield Senior Center on Jun. 21, with your photo ID, to claim your very own NOAA radio from Whitfield County Emergency Management. - The United Way of Northwest Georgia is seeking volunteers to serve food at the Whitfield County Power Lunch sites.
