3 Suspects Steal Car With Child Inside In DeKalb County: Report

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — DeKalb County police are searching for three suspects they said stole a car with a child inside, along with other crimes Tuesday night, WSB-TV reported.

Investigators told the news station that they responded to a call shortly after 10 p.m. at a home on Mill Lake Circle after someone reported their car had been stolen. The three suspects had gotten into a running vehicle on Mill Lake Circle. On the way to the home, officers were notified about a crash at Martin Road and Post Road Pass.

Investigators told the news station that the suspects noticed an 11-year-old child in the car so put them out before speeding away. They crashed the stolen car into a second vehicle and ran away while firing shots, WSB-TV reported.
