Decatur Boy's Very Lucky Day

Alisa and Andrew Lewis sent Patch these photos of a rarity their son discovered.

They write,

Ansel Lewis, a nine-year-old Decatur boy, spends lots of time locating four leaf clovers.  

In the past several weeks, Ansel has found nearly 20 of them.  On Sunday, he found a clover far more rare: a seven-leaf clover.

Patch checked and discovered Guiness World Records says Shigeo Obara of Hanamaki City, Iwate, Japan, set the record when he found a 56-leaf clover in 2009. He had set the previous record of 21 clovers.

But that's Japan. Seven leaves is a lot for Decatur. Congratulations, Ansel!
