Decatur Man Arrested On Three Murder Charges

Adonis Lewis is facing multiple charges after being arrested after failing to appear during an arraignment on other charges.

DECATUR, GA -- Police have arrested an 18-year-old Decatur man after he failed to appear in court on an arraignment. Adonis Lewis was arrested on a a bench warrant from the DeKalb County Superior Court.

Lewis is charged with malice murder, three counts of felony murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault, conspiracy to violate the Georgia controlled substance act and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.

On April 29, DeKalb sheriffs and police arrested Lewis without incident at a Decatur residence and took him to the DeKalb jail.
