A portion of Briarlake Road, between Briarcliff Road and Briarlake Trace Northeast, will close for about three months, starting Sept. 26.

County officials said the closure is due to the Briarlake Sewer Rehabilitation Project, consisting of work on a sewer line and several manhole structures.

One lane at Briarcliff Road, near the intersection of Circlewood Road and Echo Drive, will close due to a manhole.

Normal construction hours will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, excluding major holidays.

Residents can get more information by emailing projectinfo@dekalbcountyga.gov, calling 1 (800) 986-1108 or attending a Zoom meeting. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
