DeKalb Inmate Dies Of Medical Emergency, Cops Say

DECATUR, GA — An inmate has died after suffering a medical emergency at the DeKalb County Jail, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office said Friday.

Authorities said Preston Gabriel Bush, 49, of Doraville, suffered the emergency Thursday at the jail and was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. They did not specify the nature of the emergency.

DeKalb County Jail records on Friday showed Bush was facing charges of rape, incest and aggravated child molestation. He had been incarcerated since April 23, jail records showed.
