E. Memorial Drive Pop-Up Market to Host Next Shopping Event on Jun 1st
The pop-up market will also celebrate the kick-off of National Zoo and Aquarium Month.
The East Memorial Drive Pop-Up Market will hold its next pop-up market shopping event on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The pop-up market will be located in the parking lot of the Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, at 5135 Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain.
Deanna Johnson Cauthen, who owns and operates Cauthen Enterprises and is the coordinator of the pop-up market, shared that her first pop-up markets, which took place in 2023, and in March of 2024, went very well.
“We had a steady stream of customers and several dozen vendors who sold everything from custom jewelry, body butter and soaps, pastries and desserts, sea moss health drinks and supplements, African clothing, hats, t-shirts, and accessories, local honey and fresh eggs, children's books, romance novels, and so much more,” said Cauthen.

In addition to the pop-up market, June 1st is the kick-off day for National Zoo and Aquarium month, and Cauthen invites the public to come out and celebrate. “Visitors can enter a drawing to win tickets to Zoo Atlanta or the Georgia Aquarium. Best of all, there’s no cost. It’s free,” said Cauthen.
