More drought relief is on the way this weekend. Here's the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.

ATLANTA, GA — The weekend forecast looks like it'll provide more of the rain Georgia needs to combat severe drought conditions, with a chance for more severe weather as we start the next week, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday will be sunny, but temperatures will stay around 57 degrees. Overnight lows will be around 40 degrees Friday night, but will warm as the weekend progresses.

Saturday will be partly sunny as clouds roll in, with a chance for rain overnight. Showers are likely Sunday, as the high drops to near 50 degrees. Not much cooler Sunday night and we'll start seeing temperatures warm on Monday.

We'll also have the chance for severe storms Monday and Tuesday, according to the Weather Service.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 57. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 40. Northwest wind around 5 mph.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 58. North wind around 5 mph.

Saturday Night: A chance of light rain before 1am, then occasional rain after 1am. Low around 45. North wind around 5 mph becoming east after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Sunday: Showers. High near 50. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Sunday Night: Showers. Low around 45. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Monday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 57. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
