Jail Before Allegedly Kidnapping Rideshare Driver, Forcing Her to Drive Across State Lines (people.com) — Three inmates escaped from the DeKalb County Jail in Decatur, Ga., then allegedly forced a rideshare driver to take them to south Florida, where they were later captured. Federal authorities say the men kidnapped the driver, threatened to kill her, and used her credit card for a rental property. Decatur residents may see renewed calls for security upgrades at the local jail.
