Pine LakeFest 2022 announces Music Schedule
Pine LakeFest is two days of art, live music, festival food and family fun on the shore of beautiful Pine Lake, Georgia

Pine Lake's fall festival, LakeFest, returns this year bringing two full days of live music to its lakeside Willow Stage, on Saturday and Sunday, October 15th and 16th, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Saturday opens with a Jazz Lunch featuring the "Mike Z Jazz Trio." Saturday’s lineup also features soulful songs by Matt Donald and Donna Hopkins; fun Americana by "False-Hearted Lovers," and New Orleans funk and rhythm and blues by "The Mar-Tans." Critically acclaimed Georgia guitarist and composer Glenn Phillips is the headliner Saturday night.
There will be a “Cosmic Gospel Hour” on Sunday morning (“all of the music, none of the guilt”) with Melanie Hammet, Cindy Diamond, and Ann Duckworth. Emily Backus and her band, “Mom Friend,” will fill the LakeFest afternoon with original rock and roll, and Pine Lake’s own “blue-eyed soulstress,” Diane Durrett, and Melissa Junebug, will bring their own brand of blues and soul to the LakeFest stage.
The afternoon takes a global turn, with singer songwriter Elise Witt, bringing “global, local and homemade songs” in many languages to the LakeFest stage. The festivities wrap up with a Cubana Song Dance Party led by Mick Kinney and “Cubana Song”: pan-Latin songs from Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, Columbia and Peru to finish out the festival! Sisters Judith and Lisset RodMés on vocals and percussion are joined by fellow Matanzas native, concertmaster Irina Vasquez on violin, and Mick Kinney on piano. Party to the many forms of Latin dance music. Admission and parking are free. For a complete festival and music schedule, visit: www.PineLakeFest.com
