Lockdown Triggered At Southwest DeKalb School
DeKalb County Schools officials told Patch that "a student issue" was being investigated Friday.
DECATUR, GA — School officials say no gun was found Friday at Southwest DeKalb High School, which was placed on lockdown during a public safety probe.
DeKalb County Schools officials did not fully detail the nature of the investigation or say how long the lockdown lasted.
"This is a student issue that is being investigated. No weapon was found on campus," school officials told Patch.

There are more than 1,200 students at Southwest DeKalb, 2863 Kelley Chapel Road.
