Teen Boy Dies In Hit-And-Run Accident: DeKalb Police
DeKalb County police are searching for an unknown car with damage on the front passenger side in connection with the accident.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA — One teen boy is dead after a fatal hit-and-run accident before sunrise Wednesday morning, and police are still searching for the driver, a spokesperson for the DeKalb County Police Department said.
Investigators said around 2 a.m. Wednesday, a 15-year-old male was walking near the entrance of Orchard Walk Apartments on Flat Shoals Parkway in Decatur, when he was struck by a unknown car. The driver did not stay on the scene.
The vehicle is believed to have damage to the front passenger side. Anyone with information is asked to contact the DeKalb County Traffic Specialist at 770-724-7610 or Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta to remain anonymous at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
