WEATHER ALERT: Possible Winter Weather Monday
There's a chance Decatur could experience some frozen precipitation on Presidents' Day.

The National Weather Service has already issued a high wind advisory as an arctic front moves through the state this weekend, but more winter weather could be on the way for Monday.
In a Hazardous Weather Outlook statement, the weather service says there is a chance for frozen precipitation on Presidents’ Day, but it’s still too early to say much more than that. Mixed precipitation is expected over north and central Georgia beginning Monday.
“At this time, it is still early to pin down precipitation type, timing and possible accumulation amounts,” according to the statement.
