Wrong-Way I-285 Crash Kills 2 In DeKalb
A wrong-way driver hit a car on the I-285 exit ramp before crashing into a second car, killing two people, Doraville Police say.
DORAVILLE, GA — Two people are dead after a driver entered the Interstate 285 exit ramp from Buford Highway in the wrong direction Thursday morning, Doraville Police said.
After exiting Buford, police said the driver hit another vehicle before continuing onto I-285.
Still heading the wrong way, police said the driver then hit a second vehicle, injuring its passengers.

The passengers were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment; however, police said one of them has died.
Additionally, one of the occupants in the driver's car died at the scene, police said.

No one has been identified, and police did not reveal any potential charges. The interstate has since been cleared.
