Have you ever wondered what your LDS (Mormon) friends really believe? Are they Christian or not? Now is your chance to find out for yourself.
You are cordially invited to an open house sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 3027 Chapel Hill Road (just east of Kohl’s in Douglasville). Come and view exhibits where you will learn tips about emergency preparedness, how to research your ancestors through a vast genealogy program, how to become self reliant, and principles regarding the church’s core religious beliefs. Find out how Latter-day Saints maintain strong families in today’s uncertain world--including holding faith-building activities that parents and children enjoy each week together at home.
Learn why Latter-day Saints feel it’s important to serve and help others. Local LDS church members recently held a Day of Service in Douglasville, where they sorted and distributed clothing, free of charge, to hundreds of families in the community.
