Augusta Woman Killed In Atlantic Ocean Plane Crash

Authorities have identified an Augusta woman as one of the passengers killed in a plane that crashed Saturday, near the Hamptons.

AUGUSTA, GA — Authorities have identified an Augusta woman as one of the passengers killed in a plane that crashed Saturday into the Atlantic Ocean, near the Hamptons in New York state.

The Suffolk County, New York, medical examiner identified Jennifer Landrum, 45, of Augusta as one of the two bodies recovered from the aircraft submerged off the coast of Quogue on Saturday. The second is Richard P. Terbrusch, 53, of Ridgefield, CT. According to New York State Police, the first man located Saturday was identified as Munidat "Raj" Persaud, 41, of Waterbury, CT. Authorities said Persaud was the owner and pilot of the Piper twin turbo prop airplane.
