- Douglas County Sheriff's Office released a BOLO for a stolen ATV. On Aug. 28, a Black man was seen on camera taking a 2020 Red Yamaha YFZ450R SE and pushing it toward the entrance of a subdivision located near Grove Trail Pass in Douglasville. Please contact Inv. - The Biden administration is planning to transition to a standard commercial healthcare model for COVID-19 vaccines, which would require patients to pay for the vaccine, booster shot, treatments, and tests. Douglas County health officials say they are "still waiting for guidance from the federal government on how to proceed." (WRDW News)
- Vendors are needed for the "Douglasville PD Fall Festival and Safety Expo" happening on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Douglasville Public Safety Complex.
