Clyde Herschel Helton, 66, of Fairburn, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital.
He was born July 7, 1946 in Atlanta the son of the late James Clark Helton and the late Thelma Lee Boswell Helton. He was a member of Corner Road Baptist Church in Powder Springs and retired from Eastern Airlines. Helton loved his family and was devoted to them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene Helton, Paul Helton and Randy Clark Helton.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Pryor Helton of Fairburn; three daughters and son-in-law, Kelly and Jeff DeGraff of Carrollton, Jessica Montano of Newnan, and Jamie Creel of Fairburn; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Noelle Helton of Blairsville and Joshua and Nicole Pryor, Sr. of Palmetto; sisters and brother-in-law, Gail Allen of Douglasville, Sue and Harold Adams of Douglasville; sister-in-law, Gail Helton of Fairburn; brothers and sister-in-law, Ronnie Helton of Jacksonville, FL and Bobby and Carolyn Helton of Douglasville; grandchildren, Michael DeGraff and his wife, Erynn, Amanda DeGraff, Stefanie Helton, Rebecca Helton, Jacob Helton, Dylan Cromer, Alexis Cromer, Kylie Helton, Ezra Helton, Ashleigh Kruty, Brandon Kruty, Joshua L. Pryor, Jr., Faith Montano, Austin Montano, Mark McAlister, Hurly McAlister, and James Creel; one great-granddaughter, Emma; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Monday, July 1, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, July 2, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Thomas Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Davis Cemetery in Daholenga.
