- Douglasville's own City Councilmember Sam Davis has been elected by member cities to serve as the Georgia Municipal Association District 3 President for the 2022-2023 year. Our Mayor, Council, and City leadership is currently attending GMA's 89th Annual Convention in Savannah with leaders from other Georgia cities. This year, the theme of the convention is “GA Cities: Lighting the Way. Leading the Future" featuring discussions on how to move Georgia forward. (City of Douglasville - Government)
