County Commissioner To Host Breast Care Tea Brunch Event

The event for senior citizens is set for Oct. 28.

District III Commissioner Tarenia Carthan is hosting a Breast Care Tea Brunch event for Senior Citizens on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The in-person event is happening at the Connect Douglas Transportation Center’s Risk & Safety Training Room located at 8800 Dorris Rd., Douglasville, GA 30134.

“During the month of October as we focus our attention on Breast Cancer Awareness, I believe it’s import we support and continue to shine a light on women in our Douglas County community,” said Commissioner Carthan. “Senior Citizens are Douglas County’s golden jewels and good health is true wealth, and I look forward to them attending this event.”

Commissioner Carthan, who represents citizens of District III, is hosting this event for all Douglas County Senior Women (ages 55 +).
