DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA – A Paulding man has been convicted of aggravated child molestation and given a life sentence but will still face charges in Douglas County as well.
In December of 2017 the Paulding County Sheriff's Office Crimes Against Children Division was alerted to a possible child molestation situation that occurred in Paulding County. After conducting forensic interviews with the two victims, an arrest warrant was issued for Daniel Allen Martin, 31, and a search warrant was obtained for his residence.
As a result of the search warrant, multiple electronic devices were discovered which contained information documenting the molestation of the two known victims as well as two other potential victims. Detectives were able to discover that one of the additional victims was a resident of Douglas County. As soon as that was discovered, Paulding County Detectives immediately alerted Detectives with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. The Douglas County Detectives subsequently launched an investigation as well.
