Douglasville Receives 2022 $20,000 Safety & Liability Grant From GMA

The Georgia Municipal Association recently presented the City of Douglasville with a Safety and Liability Management Grant of $20,000.

HR Director Teaa Allston-Bing said, "the grant application included the need for police department bullet proof vests, city-wide ergonomic safety belts and information technology storage arrays for the PD and City Hall that will hold video from the surveillance camera system. The grant funds will be used to cover those items."
