The Douglas County School System has an update about how Hurricane Michael will affect the school system.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA – The Douglas County School System has been continuously monitoring weather situations as they relate to Hurricane Michael.
"We will provide updates as they become available regarding any potential impact of Hurricane Michael on Douglas County School System operations," the school system said in a statement. "While it is still too early to know for sure or predict the full effect of the storm, we have safety plans in place to protect our students and staff.

"Unless informed otherwise, the Douglas County School System will continue to operate business as usual throughout the normal school day and the remainder of the week," said the statement.
