  1. The Douglas County election office in Douglasville has a new buzzer-entry system which secures the doors due to the threats of election conspiracy theorists who have targeted the office. Elections Director Milton Kidd varies the times and the routes he uses to travel to work due to the threats and harassment. According to CNN, federal officials are now offering de-escalation training to local and state officials to help avert violence at the polls. (CNN)
